| Since 1992, Abacus has provided its clients with a wide range of technical event organisation services including programme compilation, speaker liaison, venue selection, publicity work, obtaining sponsorship, mailings, catering, accommodation bookings, event management and post-event reviews with clients.
Our clients include Government Departments, Research Associations, Technology-Based Companies and Charities.
Abacus manages two technology associations - the British Measurement & Testing Association and Evaluation International.
BMTA membership is open to all laboratory-based organisations. We have almost 100 members most of which operate UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited laboratories. BMTA manages EUROLAB UK which provides the UK membership of EUROLAB.
EI membership is open to users of instruments for measurement and control and related safety systems. Membership funds are pooled to commission independent instrument evaluations. EI members also receive reports produced by our sister organisations in the Netherlands (WIB) and France (EXERA).
The Abacus Tenders Service provides clients with a weekly update of tender opportunities. There are thousands of tender notices published across Europe each week. We can refine this down to the handful of opportunities likely to be of interest to your company.
